Pity I am not there, it would be good to learn how to train my tomatoes to go up instead of growing horizontally. And yes, I did tie them up, but not so efficiently, apparently :-).
Dangit! For once in a long while, I have myself a date tonight and won’t be able to come. Any chance for a repeat performance?
You should totally record it and post on your blog. Would love to watch and learn!
Sorry guys. I was not able to record it because I had to use my phone as a hotspot for part of my presentation. BUT they did tell me it will be on the local public access channel. I will let you know if I can get that information.
Hanna,
Sorry I missed it – and it only took me about 5 minutes to realize I had already missed it ! It was probably my last hope for planting all the seeds from 2010. My horizontal garden is out of room. Help me Obie Wan Hanna you are my only hope !
Seriously now – when the horizontal space is not an option – vertical gardening beats roof top gardening.
Oh dear. I am afraid that vertical gardening and daylilies may not mix well. You might be able to convice Aunt Sue to let you convert the back of a house to a living wall (http://www.edennow.com.au/eden/vertical.htm) for the seedlings though. 😉
Hanna, your talk to our club was great. Lots of helpful information and good visuals to accompany your entertaining commentary. We enjoyed ourselves and learned something–the perfect garden club program!
